# What is the IP Performance Index and how is the score calculated?

Real-time scoring system for a volume of licensed IP properties

The IP Performance Index is eInsights' real-time scoring system for global licensed IP properties — from Batman and Bluey to Pokemon and Taylor Swift. Every IP receives a score from 0 to 100 calculated by eSmart AI from up to seven independent data sources:

_Google Trends search interest, Rotten Tomatoes audience scores, IMDb ratings, YouTube engagement, Reddit fan discussion volume, TikTok content activity, Amazon retail demand and much more._

Each source is weighted and combined into one score that reflects where an IP stands in the market right now — not last year, not based on a survey, but today.
