eGeezPAY connects royalty invoices with payment information, currency requirements and payment-status tracking within the eInsights experience.
The royalty currency is determined by the applicable licensing agreement.
Sign in to your Licensee account.
Navigate to Royalties → Invoices & Payments.
Review the available invoice balances.
Select the invoice you wish to pay.
Confirm:
Licensor name.
Associated royalty statement.
Invoice amount.
Required payment currency.
Outstanding balance.
Available payment instructions and applicable charges.
If you believe the invoice currency is incorrect, review the relevant agreement in My Licensors before proceeding.
Depending on the options presented for your invoice, you may be offered different approaches.
Option A — Pay through your bank
Instruct your bank to remit the amount in the licensor's required currency.
For example, if you have a USD bank account but the licensor requires CAD, your bank may be able to convert the payment into CAD before sending it.
You do not necessarily need to open a separate CAD bank account.
Your bank determines its applicable conversion rates and charges.
Option B — Use your own foreign-exchange provider
You may use a supported external currency-conversion service to obtain the required currency and follow the applicable payment instructions.
Review the provider's rates, fees and delivery requirements before sending funds.
Option C — Use ePAY currency conversion
Where offered in your checkout, ePAY may provide a currency-conversion option with an estimated exchange rate, applicable charges and funding amount.
Review the displayed quote and terms before confirming an available payment option.
Exchange rates and estimated charges may change according to the applicable quote conditions.
Before proceeding, check the displayed:
Royalty principal.
Required settlement currency.
Payment method.
Applicable processing charges.
Currency-conversion costs, where relevant.
Total amount payable.
The licensor's contractual royalty entitlement should not be silently reduced by payment charges.
Use the payment method and instructions actually provided for your invoice.
Do not send funds to banking details obtained from an unverified source.
Return to Invoices & Payments to review the available status information.
Payment initiation does not necessarily mean that the licensor has received the funds.
A payment may progress through receipt, reconciliation and payout processing before reaching its completed status.
If a payment is delayed, incomplete or requires clarification, follow the available support process and retain your payment reference.
